Official Rules
No purchase or maintenance of any America’s Best Defense products or services is necessary to enter or to win. Open only to legal residents of the United States of America or the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the date of entry. Void wherever prohibited.
Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States of America or the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. Employees of Sponsor, the Sponsor’s parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, Prize providers, agents, and the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) of employees, and all those with whom such employees are domiciled, are NOT eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Agreement to Rules
By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Sponsor, as final and binding as it relates to the content. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Sweepstakes Period & Odds
The 2025 ABD Mansfield Buddy Week Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is a sweepstakes in the United States. The Entry Period and Drawing Date for the Sweepstakes are set forth below.
- Entry Period: March 31, 2025 – April 5, 2025
- Drawing Date: April 10, 2025
- Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
How to Enter
No purchase or contribution is necessary to enter. To enter the Sweepstakes, Entrants must bring a guest (“Buddy”) to class (or their child’s class) during “Buddy Week” (the week of March 31 – April 5, 2025).
Entrants that prefer an alternate method of entry can also provide the following information on a 3.5 x 5-inch postcard:
- Full legal name
- Date of Birth
- Mailing address
- Phone number
- Email address

Entry Requirements and Restrictions
Only submissions received during the Entry Period will be eligible for the applicable drawing. Mail entries must be postmarked no later than April 5, 2025 to be included in the final drawing. The entry must fulfill all sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
One entry per person per program (Kids Martial Arts and Teen/Adult Krav Maga).
Prizes
Two winners will be selected, one for the Kids Martial Arts program and one for the Teen/Adult Krav Maga program. Winners will be awarded one of the following:
- Kids Martial Arts Prize: Extreme Weapons Pack (approximate retail value: $400)
- Teen/Adult Krav Maga Prize: Full set of Hayabusa sparring gear (approximate retail value: $400)
Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted.
All taxes on the Prizes, including but not limited to federal, state, and local income and sales taxes, and any expense not covered herein (including but not limited to expenses related to the use of the Prize) are the responsibility of the winners. Prizes are nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsor in the event that a Prize cannot be awarded for any reason, in which case, Sponsor will award a prize of equal or greater value. Limit one (1) Prize per person/household. Sponsor does not make, nor is Sponsor in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prize, including but not limited to the quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or condition.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Winner Selection and Notification
Winner(s) of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing on Drawing Date under the supervision of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winner(s) do not need to be present at the time of the drawing to win.
Winner(s) will be notified by phone call, email address, or in person by April 30, 2025.
The receipt by winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal and state laws and regulations. Any violation of these official rules by any winner (at Sponsor’s sole discretion) will result in such winner’s disqualification as winner of the Sweepstakes and all privileges as winner will immediately be terminated.
Limitation of Liability
By accepting a Prize, winners agree that the Sponsor, Facebook, and each of their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of the foregoing’s officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents, will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by winner for any liability for any injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of Prize or participation in this sweepstakes or participation in any sweepstakes or Prize-related activity.
Disputes
Entrants agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and solely and exclusively in a federal or state court located in the State of Massachusetts; entrants submit to sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction to said courts in the State of Massachusetts for any such dispute and irrevocably waives any and all rights to object to such jurisdiction; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Entrant hereby agrees that entrant will not bring a class action or participate in a class action against sponsor with respect to a sweepstakes. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants in connection with this Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Massachusetts, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules of provisions (whether of the State of Massachusetts, the United States, or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Massachusetts.
Data Collection
Sponsor collects personal information from participants when they submit an entry for a Sweepstakes for use in administration of a Sweepstakes. When submitting an entry to Sponsor, you may be asked to consent to receive promotional emails and information about America’s Best Defense. Consenting to receive such emails and information is optional, and is not necessary to submit an entry or to win a Sweepstakes, nor will it increase or improve your chances of winning.

To obtain the name of the winner(s), please contact the Sponsor by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line: “Buddy Week Sweepstakes” within one hundred and twenty (120) days of the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
